The Manifesting Visualization Formula™

The Manifesting Visualization Formula™ is a visualization framework I developed to help people visualize their goals in a way that takes into account all the variations of belief and goal-setting. When I first started working with creative visualization, I noticed something interesting. People seemed to fall into two camps: those who loved the mystical side of the Law of Attraction and those who preferred a more practical, evidence-based approach to setting goals.
I’ve always lived somewhere in the middle. I believe in energy and intuition, but I also love science and strategy. So I created a process that blends both. I call it The Manifesting Visualization Formula™ — a flexible framework that works whether you’re spiritually open, beautifully skeptical, or both.
Recent studies in neurology and brain imaging now confirm what many of us have sensed intuitively: visualization works. When you imagine something vividly, your brain activates as though you’re actually doing it. That means you can train your mind to notice opportunities, feel more confident, and take aligned action. Even more interesting, new research shows visualization is most effective when you focus on the process of achieving something rather than just the outcome. That approach not only regulates motivation and dopamine levels but also mirrors a more journey-based way of creating which is exactly what the Manifesting Visualization Formula™ is designed to do.
That’s where this formula comes in. It brings together three types of visualization that support different parts of your journey: Action, Attraction, and Adaption. Each one helps you connect more deeply with your intention, whether you’re building momentum, inviting support, or becoming the version of you who can live your dream.
The Three Kinds of Supporting Visualizations
These three visualization techniques support the goals, resources, and attitude shifts that make your Main Intention come true. You can think of them as three energetic pathways to manifestation — one focused on doing, one on receiving, and one on becoming.
1. Action Manifesting Visualization
For goals that rely on your effort, focus, and growth
Action Visualizations are for the times you know it’s on you to make something happen — learning a new skill, completing a project, or developing a consistent habit. These visualizations answer the question:
“What do I have to learn, create, produce, or do to bring my intention to life?”
Recent studies show that visualizing the process of doing something, not just the end result, creates stronger motivation and better performance. So instead of picturing yourself holding the finished product, imagine yourself working with ease, learning with joy, and staying steady through the steps that get you there.
Try these four approaches for Action Visualization:
- Visualize the Process of Doing
See yourself in motion — taking each step, completing each task, making steady progress toward your goal. - Find the Joy in the Doing
Imagine that the actions themselves are interesting, engaging, or even fun. The brain is drawn to pleasure — so if your visualization feels enjoyable, your real-world actions will follow more naturally. - Visualize Overcoming Obstacles
Picture yourself navigating challenges with calm confidence. This keeps your visualization grounded and prepares your mind to respond flexibly when surprises arise. - Develop New Behaviors
See yourself forming habits that make your intention inevitable. Imagine yourself doing the small, daily things that build toward the bigger result.
Action Visualization gives your logical mind something to do — something measurable and real. And when your imagination and your effort align, momentum follows.
2. Attraction Manifesting Visualization
For goals that depend on timing, support, and synchronicity
While Action Visualization rely on what you do, Attraction Visualization focus on what you allow. They’re about letting life meet you halfway. These visualizations answer the question:
“What resources, opportunities, or support do I need to attract for my intention to manifest?”
This is the classic Law of Attraction territory but even if you’re more science-minded, think of it as a way to reprogram your beliefs and open new neural pathways for receiving.
Here are four Attraction Visualization techniques to try:
- Magnetize Resources
Imagine that whatever you need — money, people, guidance, opportunities — is being drawn to you easily. You don’t have to know how it happens, only that it does. - Expand Beyond Limiting Beliefs
Notice any inner resistance that says you can’t or shouldn’t receive what you want. Replace those thoughts with new, empowering ones. This is how you build fresh wiring in your brain for possibility. - Vibrate the Essence
Tune into the emotional frequency of what you want. If your goal is to attract generous art collectors, what’s the feeling behind that? Worthiness? Confidence? Success? Cultivate that feeling now. - See Yourself as the Person You’ll Become
Visualize yourself as the version of you who already has what you desire. Let that version of you guide your choices and behaviors in the present.
Attraction Visualization reminds you that you don’t have to do everything alone. When you stay open, aligned, and ready, help has a way of showing up in delightful, sometimes unexpected ways.
3. Adaption Manifesting Visualization
For goals that call you to grow into a new version of yourself
Most people focus on what they want to get or do. But true change happens when you focus on who you’re becoming.
Adaption Visualization is about identity and aligning your inner self with the person who already lives your vision. Instead of waiting for outer results, you start embodying the thoughts, feelings, and habits of your future self now.
Every behavior you repeat reinforces who you believe yourself to be. When you visualize yourself acting, thinking, and feeling like the person you’re becoming, you cast votes for that identity until it feels natural.
Try this simple two-step process:
- Choose the Version of You You’re Becoming Ask: “Who is the version of me that already lives this vision?” What do they believe? How do they make choices?
- Adapt to That Identity in Small Ways
Visualize yourself living as that person then take one small aligned action. Each time you do, you strengthen the new identity. You’re not pretending; you’re practicing.
Adaption Visualization works because your habits and identity form a feedback loop. Change one, and the other follows. It’s a gentle, steady way to evolve from the inside out.
Every image, word, and action becomes a vote for the kind of person you’re becoming and that’s how transformation begins to take root.
Manifesting Visualization Formula™ Flexible and Adaptive
Each of these three visualization methods — Action, Attraction, and Adaption — offers a unique path toward manifesting your intentions. Some days, you may need the motivation of Action, visualizing yourself doing the work and finding joy in the process. Other times, you might lean into Attraction, magnetizing opportunities and allowing life to conspire in your favor. And then there are moments when it’s time to Adapt — to simply become the version of you who already lives your dream.
Creative visualization isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s a living, evolving practice that can grow with you. Whether you see it as mystical or neurological, what matters is that you find a way to feel your vision as real.
When you visualize with intention, you bridge imagination and reality. You train your mind, body, and energy to move as one.
So let yourself experiment. Blend the formulas. Follow your intuition. Let your visualization practice reflect all of who you are — the dreamer and the doer, the believer and the builder. Because manifesting isn’t about chasing a perfect method. It’s about becoming the clearest expression of your vision — from the inside out.
